My 53 plate 5 door does a weird thing. 9 times out of 10 if I unlock, with fob the car it beeps at me for 10 seconds. Then stops. Alarm doesn't sound If I stick my keys in the ignition it stops. Anyone know why? All else works fine. ?

Chaps, I have the OEM Walnut Kit, in a box. It fits with 3M tape. Which I have no issues with doing. HOWEVER: How do I get the original trim off? Is it 3M too or clipped? I don't want to break it if possible. TVM. M.

Bugger! Can't see why that would screw it up... or what coiuld go wrong with it. I wonder if its easy to fix.........

Sorry, I maybe be a DPM. When yoiu say LOCK - do you mean the actual LOCK CATCH that bites on the bar on the B post? I have the same issue..... Door Lock on Driver's Side. No unlock?????? Ta. M.

Oh yeah - the main car battery is fine also. It hasn't been disconnected! :)

Today, it so happens my drivers door will lock, but not unlock on the Fob, I have changed the Fob-Battery and checked the fuses. No dice. (It does unlock with key!!) All other doors lock/unlock. What am I doing wrong? Is there a common fix/fault? Is there a reset? Ta. Max

PS: It aint the cable, cos I manually wound the motor backwards to put window UP. When I press switch there is ZERO noise , no clicking et al. I wound the window down to pay for parking and it just stayed down!
