I have a Freelander 52 Plate, with (TD4:ES), a Maximum Authorised Mass (MAM) of 2080kgs.

As I have a post 1st Jan 1997 Licence, I can only tow MAM of 3.5.

My question here is, can someone tell me what the MAM is for a 2006 (PRE-FREELANDER 2), one of the last Mk1 Facelifts is?

There is a plate on the drivers or Passenger side door that will tell you.

Land Rover told me it was 2080 , the plate of my mate's says 2580 (ish), either way its over and pushes my total over the allowed amount.

Can someone please clarift for me please?

According to Haynes manual

Weights change at 2001 model year, Poss TD4 is heavier than the old diesel ??

Unladen diesel 2001 onwards 1540 - 1635KG (was 1480-1525kg)

Being an ES i would expect it nearing the heavier, depends if its an auto aswell

Max Trailer weight - 2000kg no change

Roof Rack max 75kg
