Thanks for your reply.Yes,I made sure rack adjuster was backed off....good idea to remove the o ring before finally tightening up the cover.....hope it still seals after all my attempts!It seems to be the worm that overtravels on RH lock even if biased to the LH side.Have ordered a DVD from Landyworld ,see if it has the answer.

obviously it is easy not to put sector shaft tooth in right tooth on rack ,there is on side a big screw adjuster locked with allen crew has pad dropped of back it adjusts pressure on rack ,they will sometimes go too far before set up ,set rack adjuster loosely unless still in tact and fit top without o ring and try 33/4 turns lock to lock
