What fridge is best as the ferry crossing is 30 hours so it either means going for a stoopidly expensive Engel fridge or buying a cheaper fridge and buying a stoopidly expensive high amp hour battery.

Why the **** do ya want ter take frozen stuff wi ya mate.......is it drugs or summat. :D
 
Last time i used it i filled it ov beer cans and thort id turn it right up to keep em cool and it froze the lot

Its taking stuff what they cant get over there that we is taking as a prezzy....and I get a fridge for taking it;)
 
Stick a spare battery in the back and connect it to that for the crossing. You could always cross to cherbourg and drive there through france and spain that woujd keep em frozen. Or you could put em in a plastic bag and hang it over the side of the ship. Or you could ask the ships chef to put em in his freezer!!!

Think I'm gonna put a battery in the back that will cover the crossing then switch it back onto my second battery when we dock. That should keep it frozen. Just got to source a reasonably priced fridge now.:D:D

Have you considered hiring a fridge if yu don't want one long term?
