Right Im away to portugal at Xmas and want to take some frozen stuff with me.

What fridge is best as the ferry crossing is 30 hours so it either means going for a stoopidly expensive Engel fridge or buying a cheaper fridge and buying a stoopidly expensive high amp hour battery.

Any suggestions???

Anyone got a fridge they want to sell???

you could ask boomer as hes got a fourty foot one which you should just about get enough pies in for xmas, by the way is your surname bates:)
 
Apparently you can buy 7 day ice boxes that keep stuff frozen for up to 7 days . Saw these advertised some where but cant remember where. Dont know if they work but might be worth an investigation. Engel fridges work realy well but are f off expensive past employer of mine installed them in all his trucks.

Oh yes, 13.6 metre triaxle, pulls the temperature down to -25C in no time, dunno how Si is gonna hook it up to his 110 though;)

Quite fancy Xmas in Portugal, what's Portugese for 'DOGGING SPOT' :eek::D:D
