gonna put a cb in the 90
trouble is theres so many too choose from..are midland any good?
i want one that is small and compact some ive seen are hooge great things.
any one got any help for me?

got mine all in for 40 quid inc postage new. then just had to buy wiggly bit and fixing

went on maplins site only 4 on there cheapest £49.99

Ive got a midland one installed into me mud dash with one of them din plate thingies....it looks very tidy and is out of the way.

I fitted an Albrecht 6890, great bit of kit if a bit pricier than others. Midland are the standard, meant to be excellent. I also fitted a Cobra speaker as otherwise you'll never hear it in a Defender. Maybe that should be Deafener

i got a tti 550, its small as ya like n works ok, nae lots o buttons. i cut a hole in the cubbybox n shoved it in there out the way n put the mic holder clip on the front.

I have a Midland 98 + that was going to put in my Defender, its OK but you need to get a good antenna, and make sure its is isolated from Engine noise. have a look at Knight Electron on the web, they are very competetive for all sorts of stuff, expect to pay about £60 newfor a decent Midland. I upgraded to President Jacko II but thats a bit of money and you need to be serious, not just occassional usage. Its in my other vehicle that I use on long haul stuff.
Oh word of warning, fleabay sell CB's that have been modified and you need to check that its not otherwise it would be illegal.
