Best thing about the Welsh Language is the fact that the bastids can't swear at ya. they have to revert to good old Anglosaxon. As well as there been a whole host of english words that they've had to bastardise in a pathetic attempt to make em sound welsh.

Porthmadog been one of them It was originally called Port Madoc after the english MP and quarry owner who built and developed the place. Porth means Gateway or aid. Madog doesn't even exist in the welsh Language

Hey All!

I live in Lisbon, Portugal, but am still an Essex Boy at heart (Brightlingsea, near Colchester)

I don't have a car anymore, after working for my dad in the garage for a number of years and nursing along various bay window VW campers & beetles for too many years, I opted to have a little sailing boat instead, much less stress :)

But my Portuguese girlfriend has a 1999 2L diesel Freelander and so here I am,

Greetings!

O Bife
