V8 Discovery 2 engine undertray

Hello all,
please can put my mind at rest on this.
My Disco does not have a front or a rear engine under tray.I think the part numbers are KRB100750 and KRB100740. I see these are available new from some suppliers at ~£700 the pair.
I am a bit reluctant to pay that.

If I need them I will probably try to get them from a breaker. My TD5 had them, not sure if V8s have them fitted, parts list saye's yes.

The big question is do I need them?

IMO Definitely not needed for a V8.
Unless you really want to catch the leaking oil in it. lol

Thank you......... I have found a very small panel at the front underneath....between the chassis rails.Nothing like TD5 one I had.

I am thinking fitting of fitting bull bars to the front and am told I need to attach it to the chassis rails covered by the plate.Most of it underneath is uncovered.

Any tips when fitting bull bars please?

‘A’ frame or bull bars ? bull bars indeed are bolted to the chassis.
An ‘A’ frame is just a couple of bolts through the bumper.

I hate bull bars but prefer a full steel front bumper. But that is just me.
