RR P38 eas levelling problem.

Hi, I'm new to the P38, and have run into a problem whilst on holiday touring with it!
I parked on some uneven ground this morning (may not be relevant). When I drove away, all OK for a mile or so, then offside front and rear totally deflated whilst nearside stayed up. After playing with the control nearside ended up on max height. No fault indication on dash.
Can anyone tell me how to reset this please?

I would be looking first at the height sensors to ensure they are in fine fettle and connected correctly.

Next, check the physical condition of the air bladders - has the Offside ones gone bang?

Next would be to get it on diagnostics to read what the height sensors are reading and reporting back to the ECU...

Great, thanks. Air bags look OK, as do the ride height linkages. I will examine further tomorrow.

Hi, have a look in the tech archive top left of the range rover home page in there you will find a post on checking the EAS by Wammers have a read through and do the tests and post the results
if you have a windows pc have a word with Datatek on here he can sort you out with the correct lead and free software to clear faults and test system.

Check the connectors in the EAS box, they give problems.

Will do, I am loathe to disturb too much while I am so far away from home!
I managed to get it level by taking the air pipes off the eas unit to drain the system. It has now gone right up level and is staying up!, all dash lights on and 'eas fault' showing on the dash. At least it's drivable now.
I believe that you are the person to contact regarding a fault /test lead etc. I will contact you once I am back home.

Remove the EAS relay located under the passenger seat, that will lock the suspension, otherwise it may decide to drop to the bump stops which is very uncomfortable.
