I'm off to eurocarparts cos Mrs Duke has hit a pothole and mullered the wishbone and cracked the front spring on her Nissan Note:oops: Still it's not like I've never had to do it before (cos it failed its mot on two cracked springs a couple of years ago)
Bless her little cotton socks :p

Trouble with the Landy terday. EML came on again yesterday just 50 miles after changing the MAF sensor. Same fault code. Checked all the cables that were visible, no obvious chafing. They pass through a plug connector on the side of the transfer box that looked a bit mucky. To get access I had to take the cubby box out ably assisted by Mrs Wimblowdriver who turned a screw which was causing a rivnut to spin, while I wormed an arm around all sorts of obstructions to get mole grips on the errant rivnut (which was later replaced with a new one). Found a dead hornet and some confetti under the cubby box. After all that the plug connector was found to be spotlessly clean inside. Fuses checked and ok. And still not found the cause of this intermittent fault.
But had a better afternoon, fitted a new diaphragm and gasket to our ancient lawnmower carb and its running sweet as a nut for a change.

Chicken korna & rice.
Ooo & look what I found for deserts. Of course I’m having both with custard.
