Td4 manual gearbox oil change

Oh bugger!

Couldnt get the pigging IRD fill plug out by hand and didnt want to round it off. So just changed gearbox oil back to the right stuff. Going to try the windy tools to get ird plug off back at works yard...or is that a bad idea?

For the TD4 yes, but isn't yours an L series?

The thermostat on the L is easy to get at.

Use a 6 sided socket and hit the back if the socket a couple of times with a hammer, before trying to remove the fill plug.

Ill give it a go, i do normally do that i dont know what was wrong with me today
