I bought a can of easy start today... gonna give that a bash tomorrow and hope for the best. I suspect if I can start it then the rest should take care of itself... fingers crossed.

ok good luck, i didnt have any with it, i took of big pipe on end of intake manifold and sprayed it in there, what id give for a manual box right now lol

If it has not started by now, having got air free fuel to the injectors. And it is attempting to fire but not catching. I suggest you check voltage to glow plugs, if good then it is possible you have several duff glow plugs. Voltage to them does not mean they are working only that they have the potential to if serviceable.

I would not recommend using it. BUT if you do, DO NOT spray directly into inlet. Spray across inlet whilst cranking so that engine sucks it in.

Not a lot of detail there, Faultmate is better. However if there is a problem with the Needle lift Sensor, check the connector and also the wires for chaffing.
