Newb Says Hi

Hi All

just wanted to introduce my self and say what a good site you have.

i should be picking my landrover up towards the end of this week when the bank finaly clear a cheque will update my profile then.

ied like to say how good this site is iv been looking around for a wile and googleing various land rover related items and all the time your site has the best answers so that is why i desided to join this site

you got it wrong .............. Freelanders OWN their owners!!

there is a defender 110 3dr that im looking at soon as i get the money in the accout

and i agree the freelander is a horrible mistake that should be erased from history and will be as soon as i get my hands on a working time machine

right lesson learned the local 110 described on the website and on the phone to me as "mechanically sound" has a rear prop shaft that rattles like a bag of bolts looks like a bering in the diff gone so not buying that one. one helpful phone call to John Craddock and picking one up on thursday on the plus side less money and cheaper on insurance so i guess i can put up with a 4 hour train journey to go pick it up

You shouldn't go far wrong with JC's ... I buy lots of parts from them as I find their service before and after to be excellent. What have you bought from them? They recently bought loads of old vehicles from a collector in Norway and bought them back here.

its a 110 commercial plan is to slowly fit it out for off road and overland going down on thursday to pick it up

right its been a wile but now got a working 110 just finished taking the home made shelves and load space divider out tonight got a new drivers door mechanism to fit after some issues and at the moment to lock the drivers door you have to lock it on the catch then shut it properly if its shut it wont lock hoping the new mech will sort it also have some electrics to investigate hopefuly just bulbs inside light, fog light and one of the rear lights not working but its a landy so all will be well

new door mechanism fitted and door behaving itself hope it lasts

Long time no update well afer a long gap im back in a green oval masheen the 110 had to go as it wouldent fit my family in it so got rid and spen 5 years in an awfke kia people carrer until the other week when a guy at work was selling his discovery 2 wife agreed kia got the boot and we are now loving the disco wife loves the driving position kids love it and i can dust off the tools
