gaylander drivers please read!!

I am a coach driver in London and I have lost count of the number of times a day I have nearly taken out a motorcycle (or push bike) because they have decided to go through a gap that I need to swing the coach through to turn.

I do watch out for bikers but it is a two way street (no pun intended!) and bikers need to concentrate on more than just diving a fast as possible for every gap they see!!

I totally understand where your coming from, car drivers can be a pain in the arse, i own a freelander & people who drive them can't be held responsible for every one .
It was just unfortunate that you came across an idiot, but there are loads out there & they don't just drive Freelanders.
By the way i also ride 2 bike's a 750 Honda vfr & a Harley Davidson Electraglide so i know where your coming from.

Folks, there are knobbers out there driving everything you care to mention, you wouldn't believe how many times we've been carved up in the fire appliance, that's with blues & two's on....

Re Bikers, cautionary note, be bloody careful when yer carvin thru traffic, had one last week, biker tried carvin between two lorries on the A40, ended up wrapped around the rear axle of a 40 tonner, not nice....

its sad when the two most hated modes of transport bikes and 4x4 take chunks out of each other and yes I have both

How can anyone be taken seriously on a powered push bike

Far too many bikers ride too fast in town, then expect people to see them when they are way over the speed limit.

I see time and time again bikes making a 4th lane up the inside of cars in the outside lane on the motorway passing between the cars in the middle and outer lanes which is plain stupidity.

Why can't they wait and pass the cars safely using the outer lanes for which it's intended and legal!

You don't buy a bike to be safe and legal.
