Never mind the cow, it's the smell of wet whippets and warm Wellies, that's Wellies, which turns the odd country Doris on. Emphasis on the 'odd' :)

Earlier this week, swapped out my 18 inch wheels for my new 16 inch modulars.
Drives much better on 215/70/16s than on the 235/50/18s.

Today, ordered a set of used hub nut covers. £39 including delivery from Germany - cheapest I could find!

Hey, that's really cool. I'll have to have a go myself. We should start a new sticky with people entering photos of their creations. You can never have too many stickies :p

Passed MOT, only advisory was that the drivers seatbelt is starting to fray, need a new one.

Drove it again! Coal Pit Saddle Historic Reserve [1000m]

Looking North past Arrowtown [which would be directly behind the FL]. The Mountains in the far distance are the Harris Mountains. The tall peak, at about 1 o'clock from the FL, is Mount Vanguard [1781m]. The nearer peak on the right hand side is the Crown Range and has NZ's highest State Highway across it.

I feel like a proper Freelander mechanic now - got myself a set of Torx sockets and a 32mm socket.
