Started removing parts off me new landy and put it on old one, got hill decent working and its starting to look fresher.

put a new power fold mirror on.

Earlier this week, swapped out my 18 inch wheels for my new 16 inch modulars.
Drives much better on 215/70/16s than on the 235/50/18s.

Today, ordered a set of used hub nut covers. £39 including delivery from Germany - cheapest I could find!

Found where my Landy is leaking diesel from. I'd fit the new pump myself but you need a special tool

Found out my centre diff bush is more fubarred than a fubarred thing being fubarred!

still just a model but now I have a better perspective of how it will look after finished

BTW crackin looking roof rack. How'd you make it and have you the know how to make the real thing?

Not today, yesterday... Changed brake pipes, discs, calipers and brake pads. It's now able to brake (again)

I'm thinking of 1/2'' steel pipe, I've done some metalwork in the past,
on the Freelander I fixed the creaking rear subframe mounts and made my rear light guards

Passed MOT, only advisory was that the drivers seatbelt is starting to fray, need a new one.

Drove it again! Coal Pit Saddle Historic Reserve [1000m]

Looking North past Arrowtown [which would be directly behind the FL]. The Mountains in the far distance are the Harris Mountains. The tall peak, at about 1 o'clock from the FL, is Mount Vanguard [1781m]. The nearer peak on the right hand side is the Crown Range and has NZ's highest State Highway across it.

Change me rattly manifold.

I feel like a proper Freelander mechanic now - got myself a set of Torx sockets and a 32mm socket.

Fit a new battery 65ah and 600cc
