:( starting to get fed up now.

After all the issues we have had and got fixed, now got a new issue

I think I kind of know what possibly the issue might possibly be but advice would be great

So 4.4 v8 on LPG

Missis prety much ran out of petrol the other day, so filled up and the check engine light came on,

It runs perfectly smooth on LPG, but on petrol the light comes on and car is very juddery, and struggles to start aswell

Now I think it might be crap sucked up out the tank when it was so low and blocked the fuel filter,

Does this sound reasonable? And have anyone on the midlands got any plug in trickery to check codes??

Thanking you :D

If she was way low on fuel - could be a Lambda sensor detecting a lean burn and throwing a fault....

My L322 did the same on a trip back from work...it hiccup'd at a set of lights and the CEL came on....a few days later it went out again once the fuel maps readjusted....once I got the All Comms I plugged it in and it showed one of the Lambdas as out of range....

Cleared fault - and hasn't reappeared....

If it is lumpy on Petrol, could be the fuel map is out....

Any codes logged when you get it plugged in...and as you say could have sucked up some ****e from the bottom of the tank - saying that when I had my tank open to replace the fuel pump - it was clean as a whistle in there....

Driven around abit on petrol tonight, it's stopped being lumpy ATM, just light still on.

Not got anything to check it with ATM, just ordered a OBD reader tho, so will be a few days before I can check it.

Cheers for the reply

Give it some time
May need to flush crap through

Regarding the light still on, it's probably thrown a hard fault so it won't reset on its own even if the fault has been rectified

Might need resetting with diagnostics

Fisha on Fullfatrr said to get an elm 327, it only reads, but then agen it was only £16 too

The CEL light was originally flashing, now it's perm on.

Aggggghhhh. If it's not one thing it's definitely your Range Rover.

Exact same as mines has started doing. Ironically after commenting on here about LPG being reliable.
So, pulled up at hospital, could smell the LPG, switched off, got out and could hear the hissing, great. Left it to depressurise whilst I got my Physio, had a look and I could see one of the hoses was loose. I thought I'd get it when I got home as Hospital car park isn't the place to fix your motor.
Anyway the car started then cut out, about 4 times before it fired up. Then it was lumpier than a lump thing. Cut out a further 5 times. Eventually, giving it a few revs, you could hear the engine note change and she ticked over sweet as a nut.
Hose repaired, checked for more leaks, found none. Sometimes she's fine other times lumpy. But just now I went for Gas, just before I stopped the engine light came on. Petrol was low, light on, half a tank of gas still. Struggled to start at the petrol station, again a little lumpy, not as bad before, switched across to Gas and was purring like a Lion:) Got home, turned her off, then fired her up and she was fine.
The wife has just informed me that it was running funny with her on petrol a few times the past week, nice of her to tell me!
Anyway, I'll leave it to see what happens before the panic sets in lol

Must admit. I properly loved mine. But much happier without it :)
