So your seventy most people pass driving test in there twentys But I don't think your seventy you mean you been driving for 30 ish years. So there is four years difference between us. So you think you know it all. Wammers answer this your in a town centre uk road your aprochiing a big red bus . People are getting off your just passing the bus how would you know if someone was about to walk out in front of you mr experienced??

Ps poor dopey at least I answers something relitive to what he wanted to know not your opinion well they were fitted with standard so that's should be good enough .

I await your experienced sensible answer!

Why do you always want to start an arguement think you should get your doctor to change your tablets?

You still haven't answered have you tell me you don't know and I'll tell you the right answer it's only with you. You think every thing is black and white logical but sometime things aren't .

You have explaned you are an experienced driver not advanced like me so if in a situation of passing a bus how could you
Tell if someone is about to walk In front of you simple enough question for an experienced driver

So you have been on an advanced driver course so bloody what. Maybe you would look for legs or go on an advance clarvoyance course.

Wammers not as detailed as usual. As you know yes that's right you can't see thought a bus most drivers look ahead expecting or not as in most cases someone to walk out but if you look at the bottom front of any large motor you will see a persons feet(not legs) before they step out in front of you so nearly right .

No there are other things to consider, but we are talking about brake fade here. So being a smooth driver and not last second braking, would seem to help that particular problem. Having driven every type of vehicle it is possible to drive on the road in the last fifty years, does give me some sort of qualification to say this. Without the need for some advanced tuition from somebody who is most likely a lot less experienced than i am.:)

Us old f@@kers don't now a thing Driving legal for 46 yrs and no accidents in 42 yrs driven anything legal on the road and over a million mile accident free or tickets. LMAO at This Who the F@@K needs ceramic brake for ever day driving........... Other than to brag to his M8 I GOT CERAMIC BRAKES :doh::doh:

Took my advanced driving test with the police 25 years ago. Never had so much as a bump since.

Why?

Experience.

And probably not driving in a style that needs uprated brakes.

Of course now I'll smash it through a wall on the way home :what:

I took mine with IAM years back, shurley though if ceramic brakes last longer, then it will be lest costs in the end? the other benefits like less warping and dust, squeal, fade, if its a better product, then why not use it, I have not heard of any negative reasons not to use them, apart from why? etc, lets be serous about this subject please, things move forward things improve, technology advances, if this IS a better product then why use the old type if there's less benefits to be had from them, as far as I can see, the cost is (in the long term) better if they last that much longer, and the added advantages

My understanding is that Ceramic brake pads tend to be more expensive than semi-metallic pads. Ceramic pads aren't suitable for all applications. Never use ceramic pads to replace the semi-metallic pads on larger, heavier trucks and 4x4s, since the metal linings may be required to manage the hefty weights and increased temperatures of stopping such vehicles. Metal/fibre pads use the metal filaments to help conduct heat away from the disks.

In all my years of driving and life i have noticed that feet are attached to legs in most cases. If you needed an advanced driving course to tell you that hand your licence in. Or if it's a chav that just got off the bus, look for the pram wheels as the kid is pushed into the road first.

No it's just 5 points but you get a 10 for twins. If you get the mother and father without hitting the kids it's a big bonus score. Even if you just knock the larger cans out of their hands you get extra points.
