Ayup,

I think its about time that I overhauled the suspension on my 1986 90. It currently has standard height, standard duty springs and dampers but the ride is quite firm and two of the dampers are in bits. I'd like to soften it a little or at least make the bumps in the road a little less harsh. Can anyone suggest a good spring and damper manufacturer that I could tie together in order to achieve this? I don't want my 90 to sit any lower or start sagging either so perhaps standard springs are the way to go again? There are lots of threads along these lines but I can't find anything specific to my needs.

Any suggestions?

Cheers,
-Tom

new springs and dampers often make the ride smoother. we have Britpart HD springs and Decarbon dampers on a 110 and it rides much better than it did with old suspension. but HD springs make it taller. Standard springs and a good quality damper should make a smoother ride.

Another vote for standard springs and a quality damper, something with a good quick rebound rate. Obviously OME are at the top if the tree but there expensive.

If i didnt have a lift on mine thats what i would have done.
