Hi i have a td4 esx 2001 with 123000 on the clock,i have recently fitted a synergy 2 (old one ) and egr bypass, new oil(magnatec semi) new oil breather and performance air filter (k+n),oil fiter. I just thought i would pass on my results on this and honestly if your td4 does not have a synergy 2 already please you must buy one (no relation to ron honestly) as the complete transformation in power and torque is amazing. I was getting about 33-34 mpg and now after the playing about stage and my right foot has accepted the extra power am getting at least 38-39 normal driving and on a run clocked 42,amazed !!!!!! Massive increase in power and less fuel used.
Thanks ron an exellent product keep up the good work.( will be sending unit for re chip so switch works in real time asap)

However my clutch went today and i live in wrexham so if anyone knows anybody that can fix for me that would be great (dealers want mad price to fix)
THANKS ALL

:) I couldn't agree with you more about the Synergy2 and with the new dash switch capability. The M47R gets back the power that BMW designed it to have + more!
t is as you say a complete transformation. The Ronbox is the best thing I've come across - puts the fun back into driving - even boring trips to the supermarket - drive with a smile, eh! :D

Of course with all this extra performance the rest of the bits must be up to scratch - perhaps your clutch would have lasted another 500 miles if you had less power!!!!

Good luck with getting it replaced. :)

Yes probably would have lasted longer but still at least i know thats there is a problem now so will investigate.

Any help with repair cost ( WREXHAM WALES) would be appreciated

cheeerss for reply

Also Td4 engine is more a fan of fully synthetic so don't leave it too long between oil changes if using semi.

Hi Formstone, pretty much the same set up on mine - what settings are you running? Unfortunately my injectors need overhauling :( so only running on setting 1 with the maff comp on at the moment but was on 2 before that.

Have mine on setting 6 with the maff off find this very good on both power and fuel but of course all depends on your right foot
Cheers

Hi, just sent my synergy 2 back for a upgrade and switch. How easy is it to fit the awitch
and where is the best place to come through from engine bay to cabin for the wires. i would like to put the switch above fuse box next to the cruse control and parking sensor switches is this ok? thanks.

Hi,
From engine bay to cabin is easy. Beside the brake fluid reservoir is the VIN Nr - follow a line down from the end of the VIN Nr and you come to a large rubber plug / grommet - poke a screwdriver through the hole from the engine side and it comes out behind the carpet, somewhere above the pedals.

I used cable-ties to hold the switch wire and the Synergy cables to the pipe that runs across the bulkhead to where I have the box - behind the under-bonnet fusebox and the bulkhead itself, in bubble wrap and then in a zip-lock bag. Dry there, and vibration proof - I hope.

My switch is fitted (self adhesive) to the right of the centre console, near the headlight beam lowering adjuster. Obviously if you don't drill any holes you can change it around anywhere to suit oneself.

Have fun once you have it all fitted.

Merry Xmas, Singvogel. :)
