Does anyone offroad/greenlane their P38 or L322?

Yep, my 2007 Vogue SE has been taken along many lanes. That's it in the middle of that muddy hole and again a bit of fording to wash off the mud :)

I took a mate and my Dad to LR Experience at Eastnor Castle last weekend on an employee self drive offer we had. They loved it.

Both standard cars with sidesteps, except my Dad has RR Sport wheels. Both with road tyres and they never missed a beat. There was even one slope where two Defenders in front (with road tyres) took multiple attempts to climb, both P38A's went up first time.

My mate bent his one sidestep a little, but he did seem to go over everything a little quicker than us lol

I'd love to take my own RR Classic round Eastnor Castle one day, is that possible?

Well they do LR Employee self drive events a couple of times a year. We paid £79 per car and the drive took approx 2 1/2 hours with a coffee/picnic stop halfway.

It would be worth giving them a ring to see what they say about non employee self-drive events. If you are a member of a club, they may put on a club day or something like that or maybe even a LandyZone forum day. They usually have 10 cars on each half day event, escorted by 3 instructor vehicles.

The number for LRE Eastnor is 01531638779

I've been on that very same mud-plug. Spent a good hour there (in my 90, with 3 other 90s and a disco though)

great place!

Just put some AT's on my daily driver P38 2.5,I've joined GLASS and Trailwise but as yet haven't got anybody to go laning with
If anybody on here is willing to show me the basics of laning on a few runs I'd be appreciative,I'm between south Nott's and north Leic's.

How is it offroad? I take it you have AT tyres on that? Iv got a vogue se aswell. Want to get it muddy!

It's excellent off road. Tyres are Pirelli Scorpion road pattern. I do have a second set of wheels now with General Grabber AT's on. They have a bit more bite on wet grass but beyond that they're not a lot different.

Good stuff, you get out much? Would you mind me tagging along for a play next time? Iv done abit round my way but nothing too serious

Next outing with the club will be on Salisbury Plains. 1st weekend in December. Sign up here. Always nice to have more people out and about. :D
Disco3Club The Discovery 3 and 4 Owners Club • View topic - Salisbury Christmas lanes and plains (UPDATED)

Or, if that doesn't give you access, try this like - same event, one of them is acting as go-between.

Also, there is a christmas meal afterwards. Will be a local boozer type thing.
