TD5 rear brakes

Hi help please TD5 rear brakes new disc`s new pads new cradles but its not braking on the full disc on the outside face why ?????? & its both doing it

worn slides ,not fitted quite properly ,**** parts

Checked all that James still no luck & it`s not cheap parts learned that one the hard way :doh:

if inside face is fine must be poor guides/slides ,unless disc is tapered

Perhaps it just needs time to bed in the new pads.

Had a similiar problem... good parts fitted but inner edge on rear discs not wearing as much as the outer. It just took a few weeks and everything bedded in and settled down. Now pads press evenly across the discs causing even wear.

Just give it time, i'm sure it will sort itself.. just keep an eye on it.

If not, and it continues, regrease the sliders and re-assemble... try again
