Thank you for the replies. Another point:What will the oil on the K&N do to the Maf sensor ? No moving parts that need lubrication Ha Ha , so maybe just cover the electrics t with gunge. I will stick to the standard filters like i Have been for the past 21 years. Thanks Willie

I have a 2007 Defender 90 TD5 now has 280 000 on the odo and still going very well. Is their any advantage changing from the standard air filter to a K&N air filter, I have used either standard Land Rover or Britpart air filters. where I stay here in southern Africa the roads are not good any...

Hello. Yesterday I Had to do a bit of tig welding on my defender 90 td5 (2007) I disconnected the battery as I thought I would rather be safe than sorry,After i had finished up with the welding, one of my friends arrived, we started chatting, and I forgot clean about reconnecting the battery...

Lynall and Tottot .Thank you very much for getting back to me, without the pedal height adjusting bolt it takes some working out. The clutch pedal has about 30mm free play before the clutch starts to pump fluid.(Disengage the clutch) As for the 140mm from bottom of pedal to floor,does not work...

I agree ! a mate and I spent two week ends cleaning his old series three shorty and then giving it a even better wash and polish it looks great with the areas where the paint has worn through. Here on the High Veld, (Johannesburg 600 Km from the sea) rust is not a problem we sprayed the chassis...

I normally use a 30% anti freeze to clean water mix ratio. I stay in Johannesburg South Africa and this time of the year we constantly see temperatures of 30 / 35 deg c .and even higher To strong a water /antifreeze mixture causes less heat transfer thanks. Willie.
