Good morning all.
I have a Defender 90 TD5 2006. I always thought that wading plugs were not used on this model.But yesterday I noticed a wading plug situated fitted to the bell housing about 75 mm up from where the wading plug would have been normally fitted .Instead of the normal wading plug as in the past, there is a small slotted opening ./weep hole between the engine and bell housing,
Is this (plug)a wading plug or what might it be for.
I thought about fitting a plug in the right place (drill and tap) but the newer housing material looks pretty thin.
