Hello.
Yesterday I Had to do a bit of tig welding on my defender 90 td5 (2007) I disconnected the battery
as I thought I would rather be safe than sorry,After i had finished up with the welding, one of my friends arrived, we started chatting, and I forgot clean about reconnecting the battery until late afternoon.
Any way I reconnected the battery after about three hours, reset the radio code, started the engine up, all fine, but from what understand about the ecu is that it has a "adaptive"system that "learns" from how I drive,
Now has the system"forgotten" what it had in memory and will it have to start in 2007 again,
"Like going back to grade one "'.
regards.
Willie.

I would very much doubt it will affect those settings. I often leave the P38 with no battery for weeks.
To “zero” those you need diagnostics.
