I have flushed out the intercooler last year with warm water and fairy liquid I've no idea if there's a certain stuff to do wash it out with ? I'll strip it and re wash it soon as I can and put another turbo on (with new hoses)

They were collapsing on the turbo exit which would mean the turbo was not working and tge air demand was greater than the turbo output , yes it was a warning however needs must and quick fixes are sometimes they only thing a budget allows .

it does rev when starting then the light comes on .

Hi all :)
Got a p38 that starts fine first thing and no engine light on however if I turn it off then back on the engine light comes on (spray nozzle) and it seems to be in limp mode and turbo not kicking in at all , ive had turbo issues a while now with the hoses being sucked in and...

they probably are original so 16 years ish .

thanks will change glow plugs , never changed these before only spark plugs and tbh ive no idea what im looking for although just watched this ..
Replacing the glow plugs in a Mitsubishi Delica L400 - YouTube
guessing its similar set up .

hey all not been for a while as not had ant issues lol
i seem to have the reverse of the hot start problem , a while ago it was starting fine cold but not when warm , however now its fine when warm but takes an age to start when cold i`d say 30 seconds of constant cranking then it fires up ...
