after owning a disco diesel for 6 years, i treated myself to a 2002 v6 es, never looked back since, diesels o.k for the fuel econ, but service cost are high, and twice a year ! i found one saveing out weighed the other, so after a years motoring you dont get any benifits. yes o.k the v6 might...

had the same problem myself with my v6 es, just after i got it, turned out to be the ecu for the gearbox !! how ever, mines tipronic !! sensor error.

theres some thing not right with your 2000 v6 ? the v6 was never on the market until mid/late 2001, and only on a my02 vin ! check your vin plate and reg docs. :confused:

hi mad hat, is your garage a main dealer ? if so there not on the ball ! ask them to simply tap in your reg number and it will come up on the land rover owner web, that will tell them if the car has had the re-call or not ! this gives them every bit of info on your car, last time it was...
