just wanted to know if anyone else has had this problem and if im right in thinking what i am..... i have dodgy rear brakes on my 300tdi, the pad slips down and rests on the disc, so while moving its grooving in to the disc, ive replaced my pads a few times.... but this isnt the problem, im...

just a quick stoopid question.... does a steering box come into an MOT ?:confused: mine shot and mot is next month.... just need to know if i should change it or if to wait till after.... it drives like herding cats but isnt too too bad, just not great.... Thanks everyone.....

i'll start by been the first to welcome you to landyzone ! my first advice would be dont mend what aint broke...! sounds like a disco to me..... i aint right good at me v8s but does sound like you have tappet issue somewhere, im sure some of the experts on here will lend a hand when the new...

just wondering if anyone in the leeds area who has some disco knoledge, enjoys tea and biscuits, banter, a jolly good laugh and has some free time.... would be interested in helping us try rebuild a crash damaged discovery 300tdi in the new year.... :confused: its front end damage ie, slam...

got her to 100 on the sat nav but my god its impossible to keep her straight.... almost touched cloth..... but 55 does me n her fine better on the fuel...... and whats point in pushing an old girl around....

best motor ive ever owned ! 5 door 2 seater massive boot ! perfect camper offroader.... breaks down atleast once a week, keeps me on my toes.... wouldnt part with her for the world.... keeps up with the fender off road the only difference is im comfy and warm all round winner..... :)

i stuck it in the net and not alots come up... to be fair id rather no what 2 in lift blocks to use lol..... as for lowering springs i was just wonder what people would say to the idea.... i fancy a project for next year something different... everyone makes trials n offroaders, fancied...

yer you could be right.... just one of my random ideas, might just change the question to "which blocks are better for a body lift ? plastic or alloy ? might get more sense from that... :confused:

nah dont be daft... i just fancy doing something i havent seen before ive seen a track day 90 but never a disco, just crazy idea..... but top mark on the step i'll be needing one of those soon :)
