hi all does anyone know where i can get lowering springs for a 300tdi disco ?

thanks to anyone who can help me out.... :)

just one of my random ideas,

might just change the question to "which blocks are better for a body lift ? plastic or alloy ?

might get more sense from that... :confused:

i stuck it in the net and not alots come up... to be fair id rather no what 2 in lift blocks to use lol.....

as for lowering springs i was just wonder what people would say to the idea.... i fancy a project for next year something different... everyone makes trials n offroaders, fancied something funny,

seen as my everyday disco im taking up still.... :)
 
seen some on a defender once (owner did it to stick out for promotional reasons for his business) I think they were called -2 springs it that helps....
 
I think MM 4x4 do -1inch lowering springs, I had a set on a disco and they were really good. you can hardly notice the lower position but there is considerably less body roll

There are companies out there that will make the springs to your spec, find out the corner weights, top and bottom size and height you want, they will do the rest. Cutting springs isnt too bad on smaller cars but I dare say on a disco its not a good idea, I can see them falling out quite easy!!

I understand totally why you want be toying with this idea, a lowered disco will be a head turner and it pushes the modified boundries a bit which is also good. A few years back I see a series LR which was about 1" off the floor, it looked crazy but oh so good, I will try and drag a pic out soon...
 
I know I am an old c*nt but I totally do not get lowering a land rover of any description same as performance mods to make em go the speed of light,if you want them things buy a TVR.
Sorry for the rant but horses for courses IMHO ;)
