So a bit of an update.... i haven't ventured as far as removing the pump but i have replaced the fluid with lucas oil rack and pinion stop leak to see if that would perhaps help a tad..... it has a bit though still leaking it certainly isn't leaking as bad.... next i will remove the pump and...

I have the very same problem at the minute!
I took the feed hose off earlier and noticed wear on the metallic piece where it fouls against the engine sump but it wasnt wore through so i tightened the union, refilled the reservoir took her for a run and shes still leaking, it appears to be coming...

Guys...... im doing some wiring and adding some bits and bobs modifying my disco, my question is what wire does what?? (gauges, warning lights etc)
I was going to start going through them all cutting each one to see what went out and reconnecting so this is really to save me the hassle of all...

Thanks for the response Brian..... I understand what your saying but im kinda hoping that there is perhaps a wire that signals for the TC to fire.... an input wire or wires somewhere that i can link into and mount a switch on the dash.
Would you know where i could source a connection / terminal...

I have a 2003 disco 2 TD5 auto and i want to either remove the TC or at least put a switch on the dash were by i can switch it off and on whenever suits..... in fact that's what i really want to do.... install a switch on the dash, which wire controls the TC or what would be the quickest way of...

Ahhhh...... So as a quick hide the 3 amigos for my impending MOT at the end of this month until i can source the OEM part and replace could you then link it out at the SLABS ECU or on the sensor lead going back to the ECU?
I was gonna do it on Monday when im off next.
