hi peter thanks for the reply, its a defender td5 2001, the lights stoped working , so i replaced the dim dip relay and the dim dip switch on the steering , also had to replace the wiper morot as it was nackered now the wipers run in the wrong direction no lights work including the brake lights...

anybody know a good mobile auto sparks in the south bucks area , i have got problems with my landy ,

any body know a good auto electrican in the south bucks area, they must be mobile, i have a load of elec problems with my landy

hi do you get any of the uk landrover magazines, if not there is a few companys in the uk that have uprater slotted discs and kevlar pads they say that braking performance is greatly improved and they are not much more money than standard brakes , try looking up brit parts , if you have no luck...

lol typical, my wipers wont work and when i put in a new motor they go in the opposite direction and i have no lights , just when you need your landy the most they let you down lol

hi tacr2 man, if i leave the wipers in park they will be in the middle of the screen and if i switch then on the will run from the centre to the passanger side and back to the middle , thanks for your input

the wheel boxes go below the linkage so thats that one , thanks for the reply treworgy

thanks odenne, i under stand what you mean , but there is only one way the motor can go on a defender, i know that i may have the gear timing set up wrong on the motor and was hoping somebody on here has had the same problem before and can tell me the easiest way of sorting it out

i have just replaces my front wiper motor gears and wheel boxex, but now my wipers are running from right to left rather than left to right , i have changed the wireing around on the wiper motor but it still running the same , i know im doing something wrong but cant figure it out, i have also...

hi im having problems with the direction of my wipers, my wipes motor was nackered so i have just fitted a new one along with gears and new wheel boxes but the wiper wont run from left to right they go the opposite way, i have changed the wiring around on the motor but its still the same...

hi your 90 looks good , i have one the same colour its a td5 2001 have a look at at the back of your engine because mine has breathers fitted as standard (wading kit) and so should yours you will see the pipes they are black and look like minature walking sticks, hope this saves you a job

simple get rid of the wife and keep the defender

hi big if it was me i would have something done about this , if it didnt leave the factory like that i would worry a bit , take off the prop and see does the big nut meed to be tighened a couple of mm this can make a big differance , best of luck with the trip im sure you will have the time of...

i ngot some butyl tape on the net the other day great stuff you could have sealed the titanic with it , look up 3m butyl tape on google and buy a roll not strips about £20.00 but good gear
