desperate for help

hi im having problems with the direction of my wipers, my wipes motor was nackered so i have just fitted a new one along with gears and new wheel boxes but the wiper wont run from left to right they go the opposite way, i have changed the wiring around on the motor but its still the same, could anybody help me solve this as i have to have it going tommorow to pick up the grandmother and where she lives is at the bottom of a really steep hill and nobody can get up or down as its so slippy any comments or help would be great

Do you mean its where they park, as all wipers work right to left then left to right or vice versa. ?

You've put the linkage back in with the wheel boxes the wrong side of it, if you get what I mean. Can't remember whether the wheel boxes should be above or below the linkage, but whatever it is, you've got it wrong.
Been there, done that.

the wheel boxes go below the linkage so thats that one , thanks for the reply treworgy

hi tacr2 man, if i leave the wipers in park they will be in the middle of the screen and if i switch then on the will run from the centre to the passanger side and back to the middle , thanks for your input
