Wiper problems

i have just replaces my front wiper motor gears and wheel boxex, but now my wipers are running from right to left rather than left to right , i have changed the wireing around on the wiper motor but it still running the same , i know im doing something wrong but cant figure it out, i have also checked the wheel boxes and the old motor gears and they are the same as the new ones ,im tearing out my hair piece on this one any help would be great as this is the time i need my 90 the most

Dunno about the defender one but i had to do the same thing on a 2cv years ago and the same thing happened, turned out i'd put the wiper motor in 180 deg wrong. Can't picture how it fits on a 90 though.

thanks odenne, i under stand what you mean , but there is only one way the motor can go on a defender, i know that i may have the gear timing set up wrong on the motor and was hoping somebody on here has had the same problem before and can tell me the easiest way of sorting it out
