I am looking at putting a winch on my 1994 defender 90. I dont need one to pull me up a cliff face but enough power when needed. The winches i have looked at are all in lbs not kilos. What size winch would people recomend.

What sealant are people using to seal the sump on a defender 300tdi

I used fiberglass to make it sturdy then bought some 4 way streach material off eBay .use heat resistant spray glue .I took my time and was impressed with the finished product

Going to put some chequer plate wing tops on . Is there anything I should put between the chequer plate and wing or should I rivit them straight on

Going to replace Cam belt on my defender 300tdi. Bought a kit and came with an instruction that when fitting the idler pulley stud if there is not a 2mm by 45 degree chamfer to where the stud goes in to make one with a countersink tool. Can anyone tell me why . Is there a specific tool to do this.

No. It's at the other end near the air box .It's only about 5mms wide. And comes out of the pipe with an elbow

Putting my 300tdi defender air intake back to standard. The pipe that I have got. from the air box to the turbo on the first bend from the air box it has a small pipe connected to it. Can anyone tell me where this goes or is it needed because I can't see this pipe on any diagrams.
