    the previous owner may have had a trailer that was taller than the landy and kept it as a note? maybe? desperate guess!

    sounds like a pretty standard landy to me! if its a 300tdi google penny trick my fuel tank rusted out along the seam but yours sounds different. the sunroof may not leak but i bet water pours in through the top of the door jams!

    you said it yourself mate. the defender is the 'proper' land rover which everyone wants so costs more. disco's are good cars and share engines and stuff with the defender, but they don't have the same 'cool' appeal. just my opinion.

    how strange, i though all the 10 inch modulars had the wide offset! mine are like your mates, stick past the arches and inch or so. good luck

    thats odd, i have 10x15 modulars with 33x12.5 and i have no problems. the 10x15 hav a huge offset already so ithink spacers as well the bearing may not last so long. there cheap and easy to fix mind so go for it...just my 2 pence and you wheels will stick so past the arch it wold be mad! as...

    no rust holes mate! just 2 small ones in the vey bottom of bulkhead. chassis is rock solid! still registered as a NA :rolleyes: if you want a genuine 200tdi, under 100,000 you'll need more money! :p

    buy mine! 200tdi, fully serviced and a 125,000 engine. they are out there but getting one that is sub 100,000 means it would have to be 93 or newer and there more like £3500...
