cool...best ignore my comments then.
1000+ to 1 is a bit tricky to defend. :)

Yeah I guess so. The input gear that came off defo only had 2 thirds length of splines compared to the crossed drilled one that went on. The lt77 output shaft was only (i say only) 2 thirds Knacked. How odd.

ok, if you say so.
worked a treat on my lt77 though....

pretty sure if you get a new crossed drilled input gear for the transfer box, they are desigened with much longer internal splines. Therefore it will make use of a nice bit of unwarn spline on the gearbox output shaft, which will solve your problem.

Unlikely that any of those will actually be 32 inches in real life.
I have a set of BFG Mud 285/75/16 and they measure 32 inches.
Don't need any lift with them and don't fit one unless you want 35s or something like that.

the 2002 TD5 axles i fitted to my 200tdi actually had "24" in the hub end casting....
-
i don't think there's anywhere decent off the m1 :D

Need one to stop my winch...just in case.
All them red isolators on the bay look too underated.
I think 500amps continuous is required...am I wrong?

if the alternator belt is driven off the power steering pump it's a disco engine.
the only real difference between the 2 is the location of the water pump in the front casting.
-
fink you will still need the correct(ish) key in the barrel as well
-
Thanks...I'll give that a try :)
