    Rear tray back issue

Yer it seems as if the springs are to bouncy, like the shocks aren't dampening it enough. But I'm wondering if it's just the tyres with them been so big.

    Rear tray back issue

A friend of mine has had the rear of his Disco tray backed. I've been doing other works on this n he says it drives awful, I've watched it drive on a motorway doing around 50mph. The rear axle looks like it just skips along, he's running 35inch Silverstones has +11inch shocks, +2inch progressive...

    New build for off road

Hi guys not been on for a while after selling my bobtail. On my bob tail I ran +2 suspension lift and +2 body lift. I've just brought another V8 and this time want to keep the boot space so won't be bobtailing it, I'm planning to do all the lift in the body, lose the rear bumper and cross...

    Swivel Balls Refurb

My swivel balls on the axle I'm refurbishing are pitted a bit and I don't want to replace with the Teflon coated ones. So I contacted this Chrome refurbishing company which quoted £86 for the pair all in. Which I thought was a very reasonable price. Just thought I'd share it with you all...

    Axle Alterations Advice

Now I have the axle fully stripped I can see how the crown wheel sits inside and the cut outs top n bottom of the ring. So I was thinking that the wheel sits inside the ring n there was a inch below that could be removed. Cheers for not slaughtering me lol Regards Steve.

    Axle Alterations Advice

I'm altering the castor correction on my front axle, I was wondering if anyone has taken a inch or so off the diff pan to give more ground clearance? I'm looking at flattening the bottom off. I know I'm adding a 2 inch lift, but I don't want massive tyres, I'm adding it for the angles. I think...

    Wigmirror problem,

It should clip on easily. If not the plastic is probably broken. You can get the plastic from eBay for a few pounds. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/370998389911 Regards Steve.

    Right hand tail lights

My rear right tail lights are out both in the bumper and in the cluster. I've checked all the fuses, changed the cluster, looked over the wires n can't find anything obvious. I'm at a absolute loss with it all the others work i.e. indicators, brake ect. Anybody come across this before...

    Drilling castor correction

Maybe but it won't be running at extra 3°. Also where the swivel bolt positions are I could redrill both in new positions save welding all together, but then it wouldn't be a off the shelf part anymore.

    Drilling castor correction

Don't quite understand which bit you are thinking off.

    Drilling castor correction

Using correction arms is what I'm trying to avoid as then brings up other issues like the prop. Thats why I'll alter the arms only at the chassis end as the bushes would be under strain all the time. I'm unsure if they are hardened as it would also make them brittle. I could always harden...

    Drilling castor correction

Mine is my daily driver too, I'm also going to relocate the anti-roll bar or drop it 2inch too. It required on all lifts as it will change the geometry of the suspension, steering and handling. Using correction bushes only adds issues on other things. If people are fine with doing things just...

    Drilling castor correction

I'm going to be lifting my Disco by 2inches, so I'm going to weld n redilling the swivel positions 3°. Also I'm going to crank the arms at the chassis end the 3° too. I'm looking to keep the bushes as off the shelf parts as well as the prop shaft My question is would it be better to cut off n...
