    A-level Cubby Box Project

there are plenty of places you could put extra storage, the roof is a handy one for cb radio, cd player, speakers, map etc. In the dash you can get the cb and cd player, just got to make sure the dash is deep enough to fit them and the wiring. Id also factor in places for extra swiches (at...

Advice for a new /newish defender

If you are after a new one, its going to be a tdci. They are quite nice to drive though imo. what ever you do though get rust proofing the chassis straight away if you want it to last years and years. Its a simple job but worth it. That advise is true with any land rover though. There is a lot...

    Front towbars

i've seen them on plenty, they're pretty useful. We had a ball and pin on the front of the series 3 for shunting land rovers and tractors around the garden. As for having to have detachable ones, I'm not so sure. Lightweights are fine with the extra nato hitch on the bumper where they were...

    WTF is this? FUGLY FL1?!

    Off to the show

yep there as soon as the campsite opens hopefully. Although the tickets I paid for around a month ago haven't arrived yet, a call to them reveals they're running behind and they should be here tomorrow. Failing that I have to call them and things will probably be a bit awkward.

    Landy 90 defender bench seating

ahh I didnt know that! We were unsure in the series due to its age, and haven't fitted any yet as no one ever travels in the back. However on the defenders I have worked on they did have retractable lap belts, which to be honest Id rather have fitted just to be on the safe side of things anyway...
