    Synergy fitting

ok, i realised i fitted it to the wrong connector so rectified this by fitting it to the connector on the end of the fuel rail (near the egr valve). when everything was re-installed the engine wouldn't start with the unit switched on, switching it off it would start? What i thought was a...

    Synergy fitting

I've just fitted the Synergy to my TD4 and just want to check i've done it correct before i drive it (the instruction pics aren't very clear). I removed the plastic cover on the fuel rail and connected it to the only plug i could see (on left hand side looking towards car)? It didn't click...

    Spare wheel cover

I know the 255 is width, 50 is profile and 18 is wheel diameter but the cover i've seen on the website says it fits 255/16 and 255/18 tyres i just want to make sure it fits 235/18 tyres snugly without having to pad it out Cheers

    Spare wheel cover

Does anyone know if the spare wheel cover for a 255/18 tyre will fit snugly on a 235/50/18 tyre or will it be too wide? Thanks

    Ride height

There are 2 sport versions - Sport and Sport premium I'm not 100% sure on differences but i think the premium has heated screen, full leather and maybe some other extras?

    Ride height

I find the ride be be spot on, not too harsh or too soft. I had a 1998 model FL diesel a few years ago and found it would wallow a bit and wasn't the best when cornering quickly whereas this Sport holds the road well without being too harsh. On really bumpy surfaces the cabin does suffer from...

    Ride height

Cheers Rog - i was told the sport has 30% stiffer and 30mm lower suspension along with the lower profile tyres (235/50/18) which is why i thought it would be noticeably lower than a non-sport It's a 3 door i have with the roof bars - might have to remove them when i get the new garage

    Ride height

1 of the reasons i bought a sport model (apart from the alloys) was i read it had a lower ride height than the other models (and also firmer). When parked next to even a basic model mine sits 1-2 inches higher? Does anyone know the exact measurements from the wheelarch to the ground or w/arch...

    It's going.............

Well after 2 months of freelander ownership i've had enough - i'm sick of the hardtop, sunroofs, back end trim rattling, i'm fed up with having to dry the rear carpet out every couple of weeks (i've resealed the rear door seal twice and it hasn't worked), i'm fed up with the noisy engine (98...

Advice on removing factory fit stereo

you can either use proper radio prongs which push into the 2 holes either side and pull the radio out or if you haven't got any of these then you can bend a wire coat hanger so both ends fit into the holes
