Well after 2 months of freelander ownership i've had enough - i'm sick of the hardtop, sunroofs, back end trim rattling, i'm fed up with having to dry the rear carpet out every couple of weeks (i've resealed the rear door seal twice and it hasn't worked), i'm fed up with the noisy engine (98 diesel) and now with the grinding in reverse i've decided enough is enough - Audi here i come (to be picked up on tuesday)

i have a few bits for sale if anyones interested, i'd prefer to sell them all together -
Spare wheel cover - no dealer logog - has landrover emblem, freelander in middle and landrover.com at bottom, new never fitted
Rear light guards - non-genuine - no drilling req just remove the origional screws, offer these up and screw in new screws (all fixings inc)- set of 4
Glass sunroof panels storage bag - clips onto rear seat back (fixings inc)

these will fit all models from 97 - 02

OFFERS

buyer to collect from Huddersfield or i can post at cost

also got a pair of genuine side repeaters for same - later type with clear/ smoked lens to replace the orange ones

Hope you have more luck with your Audi than I did! Most expensive 2 years ownership ive ever had - including 10 years with Rover 800s! Suspension arms and bushes needed replacing twice, initial cost nearly £1000, fortunately second replacement under warranty. Just got second TD4 - new, previous, year old to me, TD4 cost nothing other than servicing, tyres and a set of front pads in 3 years 45,00 miles. Air flow sensor and clutch master cylinder replaced uner warranty.

Sorry to hear that chap, I have found that the cars I have had most problems with are the ones I always look back on as the ones Ive liked the most, it just makes them more interesting when ya have to fix em, you tend to get more involved than the ones that just start and go, blimey I cant believe Im sayin this! my landies bound to blow up now !

all my company cars I have ever owned have all been un-interesting to me as they have all been new and not broken down or the fact that I havnt had to fix em or worry about MOT's

Hi there - sorry to hear that.

How much would you like for the spare wheel cover? (Have you a pic BTW?). I'm not a million miles away from you or could you post it? ;)
