For sale is our beloved Land Rover Defender 110 200tdi.
We bought this car in 2014 and have covered only 10,000 miles since then. The vehicle has low mileage and is backed up by all MOTs that we possess.

I had a very similar problem. Turned out it was the earth cable where it joined onto the chassis. A bit of a clean and it works good as new now.

Thanks for the help guys and gals. I will be checking all fuses and wiring on my next few days off. I will hopefully let you know that I have found and solved the problem.

Hi all,
My nearside headlight has stopped working on full beam. Thinking that it was just a blown bulb I replaced it today and it hasn't fixed the problem. I am assuming it's a faulty earth somewhere.
Has anyone else had this problem? Where should I be looking for the earth?
Could it also be...

I went out in my troublesome little madam today. The indicators switch on but don't flash. The hazards do the same. Any ideas anyone?

Cheers zeaphod
The tyres I have at the moment do look ridiculous. I am basically looking for something that I can have as a spare set for winter/bad weather and occasional work.
So 235/80 should fit my currenwithout any problems? wothout

So will I have to get new steel wheels to put larger tyres on?
-
I have a 110. It does look silly as the tyres look tiny on it at the moment. I have found some insa turbo 205/80 nearby and was hoping to fit these.
I know very little about tyre sizing

I currently have 205/60 on my truck. They look small in comparison to the wheel arches. I have found some tyres that are 205/80. Will I have problems fitting these or should they be OK?

I did mean special tracks but I will have a look at traction tracks too. Thanks saltlick

Cheers woody. That's what most people seem to be saying.
