For sale is our beloved Land Rover Defender 110 200tdi.
We bought this car in 2014 and have covered only 10,000 miles since then. The vehicle has low mileage and is backed up by all MOTs that we possess.
Since we have owned her we have done all the work she has required including bushes, brakes, suspension, rear shock absorbers and various other bits and bobs.
Our family is due to expand in the next few weeks so with a heavy heart we have decided to sell.
In the time we have owned her she has mainly been used for runs to the tip, collecting firewood and of course as our wedding car. We have done no heavy towing or ‘extreme offroading’.
We have used the vehicle as a van so the rear seats have all been removed. She is checker plated throughout so nice and easy to clean. The 2 front seats are clean with no tears and are covered with seat protectors.
Included in the sale will be 3 foldable seats (which we removed) and the wheels/tyres that we bought her with, plus a box of random other parts which the buyer may as well take. She currently sits on 4x BF Goodrich Mud Terrain Tyres with medium tread left and has a spare on the rear door.
She has never failed to start and runs well, however please remember that she is now nearly 30 years old and is showing a few old age blemishes (as any ‘proper’ Land Rover should!!), and she does have a few small electrical gremlins which I will try and get sorted prior to sale.
The rear crossmember and parts underneath are all in pretty good shape. All gears and Hi+Low ratio all work as they should.
We purchased the vehicle from a garage that had received her as part exchange. The previous owner had spent 8 years restoring her in his garage. We have all the MOTs which she has passed since then and the V5 paperwork. Her current MOT is due to expire 08/09/17 however we have only covered approx. 1000 miles since the last one. The previous owner has also replaced the engine and put in the more desirable 200tdi (which pulls like a train)
She currently has a ‘custom paint job’ (done by the previous owner) which the pictures don't do justice.
As mentioned this vehicle is our pride and joy and will be sadly missed so please ‘no time wasters’.
We are asking £6,000 ONO. We will accept cash or bank transfer, however (obviously) funds must be transferred before the buyer leaves.
