Hi all,
My nearside headlight has stopped working on full beam. Thinking that it was just a blown bulb I replaced it today and it hasn't fixed the problem. I am assuming it's a faulty earth somewhere.
Has anyone else had this problem? Where should I be looking for the earth?
Could it also be linked to my blower not working?
Thanks for your help.
Jack

I would have thought that if the main beam didn't work but the normal beam does then the earth is fine, mine is located on the inner wings just behind the lights. Time to get the volt meter out me thinks....

Hmmmmm....... I just can't figure it out. Is there anything glaringly obvious that I'm missing?

broken wire or suspect connector block.

use a multimeter to check power at contact side of block. blk is ground. other two are dip and main beam

Thanks for the help guys and gals. I will be checking all fuses and wiring on my next few days off. I will hopefully let you know that I have found and solved the problem.
