Just to update it did improve running a big on petrol but gas still rough so need to have that adjusted

Hi had same problem on my 94 4.6 Hse. Leads change helped a bit then found vacuum pipe soft on right rocker cover and split on left. Almost right now but going to change the coolant temp sensor as still doesn't like starting and idling well when turning over from hot. Best of luck anyway.

Thanks for the suggestion it has new plugs though so shouldn't be an issue yet and sadly the fault applies when running on petrol only as well as LPG too. Am going to change the Ht leads next to see if it may be shorting out somewhere but wouldn't that effect the general running too?This only...

Get about 15/16 mpg from my 1994 4.6 Hse on a read using V power 4 star and just got it converted to LPG which is well recommended as seems to do about the same mpg . Gas was 69p litre in summer but up to 75p now, even so makes for cheaper motoring! Wish I had done the conversion a year ago.
