So I recently had mine in for MOT and mentioned upcoming rules regarding the EGR and deletes... I asked about passing and failing, the guy who does tests said something which just gave me an idea... "if you can see it".
MOT testers aren't meant to remove anything from the car, so I'm thinking...

had mine just over a year now and not really had much issue with it... although it did come with issues.
brakes didn't work = worn vacuum hose... I fixed that. incidentally it did come with paperwork from some garage quoting lots of money for a new vacuum pump it didn't need.
handbrake didn't...

As title suggests, I've developed a water leak. Or rather it was leaking when I bought the car 4 months ago but only now is it leaking enough to tell where from, and with enough water in the system... it just P15535 out... but what am I looking at? It's like a plastic Y piece hosed up to the...

changing pipes won't stop them chafing, rest of them look good as I checked, and just because one chafed it doesn't mean any others are chafing. you call it preventative maintenance, I call it replacing parts unnecessarily. preventative maintenance in this case would simply protecting the pipes...
