    EGR delete and the MOT.

well the first 5 pages was almost exclusively HID lights. Who's got time to filter through junk posts?

    EGR delete and the MOT.

well it seems you lot can't keep on topic. maybe you should have been kind enough to say something in your first post here instead of just arrogantly posting a link.

    EGR delete and the MOT.

I don't think you quite grasped the point of my first post and I didn't ask any questions.

    EGR delete and the MOT.

thanks for the link, but 5 paages in and not much talk of EGR. I got my car with the EGR already done... thanks.

    EGR delete and the MOT.

So I recently had mine in for MOT and mentioned upcoming rules regarding the EGR and deletes... I asked about passing and failing, the guy who does tests said something which just gave me an idea... "if you can see it". MOT testers aren't meant to remove anything from the car, so I'm thinking...

Freelander 1 Thinking about buying a Freelande,r what to look for?

had mine just over a year now and not really had much issue with it... although it did come with issues. brakes didn't work = worn vacuum hose... I fixed that. incidentally it did come with paperwork from some garage quoting lots of money for a new vacuum pump it didn't need. handbrake didn't...

Name that part. Clue: it's leaking water.

As title suggests, I've developed a water leak. Or rather it was leaking when I bought the car 4 months ago but only now is it leaking enough to tell where from, and with enough water in the system... it just P15535 out... but what am I looking at? It's like a plastic Y piece hosed up to the...

Freelander 1 brakes, vacuum, how obvious can a leak be?

nice pictures, but it's still only one hose changed

Freelander 1 brakes, vacuum, how obvious can a leak be?

changing pipes won't stop them chafing, rest of them look good as I checked, and just because one chafed it doesn't mean any others are chafing. you call it preventative maintenance, I call it replacing parts unnecessarily. preventative maintenance in this case would simply protecting the pipes...

Freelander 1 brakes, vacuum, how obvious can a leak be?

I respectfully disagree "if it ain't broke..." and all that.

Freelander 1 brakes, vacuum, how obvious can a leak be?

I realise this may be a moot post to many and kinda covers ground already covered, but I'm going to cover it again lol. Now I've been driving around in my poolander for 2 weeks, today I took on the challenge of investigating my braking fault. The fault being a pedal which works well on first...

    Egr Blanking Mod

considering this topic is nearly 10 years old I think Ming should amend his opening statement in post 1 lol. At this stage the first thing to do is check if the car already has one fitted or not. I stupidly bought one without checking and it did indeed already have one. I just assumed I'd need...

never thought I'd buy a landrover.... probably won't.

I really don't know much about vcu, so the first one I see will need painting bright yellow so I can spot it.

never thought I'd buy a landrover.... probably won't.

well the first car I went to look at yesterday was a focus ST... I left it standing there due to the sub-par bodywork someone had done at the rear wheel arch/sill corner... hidden rust and lumpy paint bubbles. anyway, quite happy with the poolander... still can't tell if all this talk of...
