Cracking start to a build. Keep up the good work !!

Click on the link V8Jon posted above, there is a RTV/CCV on this Sunday. I've done two RTV's with them in my standard 90 and it was great fun. Pop along and see what its all about.
Saying that I've recently bought a CCV trailer (V8 ex challenge truck) which I hope to be competing in on Sunday.

And it was quite spectacular watching from outside too !!

There's a RTV and CCV trial on Sunday 26th May at Woodpark near New Moat. That should be a good one, not sure yet which class to enter? I'll have to pop along one day and see your project.

There may be trouble ahead

Sorry late reply. Was a great day, but had to retire two sections from the end. We had a heavy landing and it ruptured the radiator !! Up until then my scores were pretty low too.
-
I was well chuffed for the two of you, because it was quite an "extreme" trial for your first. Saying that it was only my third and I was bricking myself a couple of times !! Just gutted that we had to retire so close to the end.
Hopefully I've attached a pic of dropping into the bomb hole...

You did really well Jon for your first trial - and I see I'm in the background in a number of the pictures.

Andrew there is a CCV trial tomorrow (Sunday7th) at Glogue quarry near Crymych. Should be a good day out. I'm entering in the orange thing in my avatar, I believe V8Jon is also entering his orange series.
Google Pembrokeshire Mudslingers and there's more details on the home page.
Cheers

Don't forget to do a build thread on the challenge truck.

I had a cracking day. I came second in class. Some of the sections were much the same for the road going vehicles as for the specialist trialers and my overall score was a lower than quite a few of them.
A shunt is applicable to leave sprung vehicles and coilers over 100 inch. It's basically...

I'm really looking forward to it, but it's my first attempt at an RTV in my defender. The other club I go to, I have started driving in CCV Trials only done 2 so far. It's a hell of a learning curve.
Hopefully posted a link to YouTube of me driving in the last one :
