Hi Nicky, sounds like the old water Ingress in rear compartment, is the orange light still on in the head unit?

Seems far too cheap for me. But you have to look at it I guess. If you can take some sort of diagnostics with you , they shouldn't object and if they do, walk away

If your wheel has been welded well it should be as strong if not stronger than the others. 22 inch rims on a fullfat often split due to vehicle weight and the amount of flex created in the rim by the smallest of pot holes.

Your problem probably stems from a faulty amp in the rear quarter rather than the head unit, check the pins for signs of corrosion

How did you get on Mike? I'm planning to do my 2012 tdv8 soon, any tips would be helpful

If it hasn't been used for some time, it will need re-syncing

It's highly likely your bm54 amp is at fault. Carphonics repaired one for me, solved same faults you have for around £100

If you stopped immediately after the belt snapped I'm wondering why the battery was dead ?

I use one on my L322 when I leave it for a month 3 times a year, made by ring, model rsp600. It's 6 watts , 343 mA at its max. It's worked a treat. Before I got it, it was flat battery time every time I came home .

I had the Lima fitted in a 2002 l322 , had it 4 years without a single problem

More like 48 hours from flat

Just clean it with isopropanol and stick it back in with clear silicone. Simples

If they are not parking you will get battery drain, pull the fuse . They are pretty useless anyway

The radio going off after a few minutes is a symptom of an issue with the BM 54 unit. It can be repaired and upgraded for about £100

Hi , I guess it depends what storey charges for the software? It may be a prohibitive amount to stop used sales , if you find out what he wants , let me know and we can sort something out
