hi all.....
this is the first range rover iv'e ever owned and its been interesting to say the least....
she's a 2004 vogue 3lt diesel in silver, don't get me wrong i love the driving position and the presence these beast's give you on the road but i'm having a bloody nightmare with the sat nav and radio...i know there is a lot of issues with the l322 boxes in the back passenger side panel..i have swapped over the amp, tv module, head unit and disconnected the sat nav disc reader and i still get the same problem that is no image on head unit, but it is back lit , and sound cuts out after 3 to 4 minutes .....i am sorry for being cheeky as this is my first post but is there any other reason for this problem its driving me mad ......and costing me lots of beer tokens....tia
cole....

Have you tried updating the software.
The Discovery 3 had an audio problem and one of the fixes was a software update.
There were other fixes but if you have a Diagnostic reader you could flash the software yourself

cheers for the heads up...will do :)

The radio going off after a few minutes is a symptom of an issue with the BM 54 unit. It can be repaired and upgraded for about £100

i replaced the sat nav disc reader and the radio plays without cutting out now...still got a blank screen but i think that's down to the tv module box, i took it out to clean connectors and noticed that two of the pins are missing...;)
