Headlight washer on startup?!?

My headlight washers seems to like getting started quickly... both on at position 2 on the key?!?
They come on and won't stop until the car has started and been ticking over for a bit.

It's getting on my nerves as it uses all the washer fluid!!! It also may be affecting my headlight as it started flickering the other morning too

Any help much appreciated

Check the headlight wipers are "docked" properly. If they aren't the washers will stay on constantly. Think if you search there are a few threads on this.

Sounds like a 'park' switch in one of the headlamp washer motors alright...

If they are not parking you will get battery drain, pull the fuse . They are pretty useless anyway
