Hi all. Had a new alternator fitted at the weekend. All hunky dory except that now the rev counter does'nt work!! Any connection?.......................or lack of it!!:( :confused:

Get RID of the damn thing................buy a decent TD5.......you know it makes sense xx:D

Bloody landrovers!!!! I have checked the voltage output across the battery and it is charging at 14.2v and with all the electrical curcuits I can muster it still charges at 13,6v. Why o why are all my lights inside and out pulsing in time with the engine???????????????

Hi Gaz Yes ref: radio control buttons. The increase volume button is OK as are the two above that...............must be a pretty damn small bulb!!!!

Just a related question. I have noticed that the decrease volume button has no illumination. Surely this doesnt have its own bulb??? All the others up the left hand side are O.K.

Col, Cant afford one anyway. Thats not really the point but I just dont like the look of them. Perhaps if they changed the back door and stuck a spare back on it, it might be more bearable to look at. Regards

Dont like looking at them........never mind thinking about owning one!! They look horrible and on reading through the posts the reliability issues are too much to bear.........I will never go past owning a TD5. Landrover take note.

I have both the Haynes manual and the Rave CD.......Both have their place and as been mentioned before the CD has a leaning towards the US export models. Just got to go with what you need at the time!

Personally, I would spend more money on my 300 than I would on the wife. Trouble is........having sex with the disco is a bit mechanical!!
